The Home Team: Audio/Visual Serving Opportunities
We are in search of people willing to serve in the following areas. (Prior A/V experience is NOT required!)
Camera Operators: Don’t worry! You can do it! We need some more people willing to help run a video camera for our Sunday
morning services. It’s easier than you think plus it’s lots of fun too!
Lighting Technician: If you like to be creative and enjoy working with your hands then this is perfect for you. You don’t have to know anything about lighting to get into it. It’s easy to learn and allows tons of room for creativity. Also, we really, really need more lighting technicians!
Recording Technician: If you’ve ever used a computer then this would be a perfect fit. Each week we record the band using some pretty cool recording equipment. You don’t have to be an expert, just willing to learn a little bit about audio recording. It’s a great way to serve those who listen in the barn door rooms too!
Live Audio Mixing: Here is where experience counts. If you have experience and a good ear for mixing live audio then let’s talk. We could use another audio guy…or girl.
Computer Technician: Do you like Mac’s? Do you want to serve behind the scenes with some really cool people? Then come join the computer graphics team. These folks control the lyrics and the message notes each week, along with occasional videos and other stuff. No experience necessary. (We’ll even take PC users)
Stagehand: Ever wanted to help behind the scenes like those guys that wear black shirts and headsets? You won’t need a black shirt (usually) but we’ll probably give you a headset. We need some people to help with things like moving props, cueing the band, etc.
Video Switcher: If you have an eye for good video then we need you. This person controls what goes on the projection screens plus they get to boss the camera guys around. (Just kidding) It’s a fun way to serve and isn’t as hard as you might imagine.
