We often say that Lake Forest is not an institution, it’s a community of people who are on a journey of pursuing Jesus – together. And we need each other to make it all happen. That’s why we encourage everyone to find a way to be a part of what God is doing at Lake Forest. There are so many places to make an impact: little kids, big kids, on stage, behind a camera, saying hello, packing us up, in Huntersville or Davidson and on and on. Not only does your service honor God and show love to our church tribe, it’s also a great way to connect and grow your faith.

Student Ministry
As a leader for our middle or high school small groups, you can provide support and encouragement for students and their families as they navigate the teenage years. Our leaders teach Bible studies, form relationships with small groups, organize and attend special events and keep in contact with students throughout the week.

Students Serving Students
There are various ways for students to get plugged into serving and leading fellow students here at Lake Forest. Be up front as part of the student worship band or behind-the-scenes running tech (we’ll teach you!) or assisting with set-up/decorations for our weekly worship gatherings. Like Kiddos? You can also serve by babysitting for children of our student leaders so they can attend MS/HS gatherings.

Office Support
This team supports our office staff with administrative tasks and projects as they arise – preparing Storylines, assisting with mailings and data entry to name a few.
