Discover God, His Word and Life within our church
During our services, we aspire to encounter God in a compelling yet sacred environment through the Scriptures, great music, time for prayer and reflection, and other less predictable sources.
We’d love for you to check us out at one of our locations in Davidson, Huntersville or WestLake. Learn more.
If you’re new to Lake Forest, and maybe church as a whole, and you are looking for opportunities to make meaningful connections and grow in your faith, the best starting place is our Welcome 101 course.
During these sessions, our pastors will lead you on a journey to help you identify where you are spiritually and also help you define your next step. As you discover your role in God’s story, you’ll build relationships, find places to share your gifts and have an opportunity to become a LFC Ministry Partner (our term for member).
Discovery Courses: Learning the Bible at Lake Forest
There’s so much to discover about God and our role in His story, so join with others at LFC in diving into His word. Whether you are new to faith or a longtime Christian, we hope these courses will help you take whatever spiritual step feels right for you this fall.
Series Discussion Questions
For each sermon series, we create a set (or two) of discussion questions that you can use to take the themes of each message further. They are great to use in your Community Group, around the kitchen table with your family or for reflection during your quiet time with God.
If you’d like to start receiving the questions in your Inbox, you can join the subscription list here.
Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary Bible Training
Part of our “one more leader” initiative is to provide seminary-level training to those in our body looking to really deepen their understanding of God’s word. We do this through our partnership with Gordon-Conwell Seminary in Charlotte. If you are ready to gain a better understanding of The Gospels, we encourage you to check out Gordon-Conwell’s next semester of BibleJourney, which begins January 9, 2014.
