Hey Lake Forest-
I wanted to give you all an update on where we are with the transition plans in our student ministry as Greg TeSelle finished his last day October 31. While we are very sad that Greg and his family are moving back to Chicago, we are grateful for the leadership team that he left in place. They are doing a fantastic job of keeping things seamless in this transition. You will notice below that many plans are still in place for the rest of this year and new plans are being put together for the beginning of 2012.
We have finalized the job description and have already begun to post it and let people know this job is open. Darrell Lipe (Elder and Leader in Student Ministry) and I are finalizing a search team as well and this team will begin gathering in 2 weeks. So, we are well on our way to locating the next Student Ministry Director and trying to make that happen as soon as possible with our goal of having a hire by March 1.

Tonight, students will be informed of this same information and given a copy of the job description. It will help you to know more about who we are looking for and what we expect to see happen in the life of our student ministry.
I want to invite any that are interested to come meet with me to hear plans for the upcoming months and ask questions about this hire and plans for Student Ministry. We will meet on Wednesday, November 16 from 7-8:15pm (during student discipleship) in the Meeting Place at LFC-Huntersville. I look forward to engaging in this with you.
